Interview with Rhonda Lisa

Author of The P.L.S. Collection series

Tell us a little about yourself

I was born and raised in West Palm Beach, Florida, and started writing short stories at the age of twelve and writing became not only my therapy but also my entertainment.

As a child, I suffered from stuttering, which caused severe communication issues. So as a way to express myself to friends and family effectively, I would use nonverbal forms of communication like text messaging and writing letters.

It was in the 7th grade when I came to see that writing my thoughts had increased my creativity exponentially, and my pen took on a life of its own.

What prompted you to write your upcoming or latest release?

My experience with my first and second love inspired so much of my first release. Our love life and experiences was a story alone and I wanted to share.

What genre and tropes are in your upcoming or latest release? Why these?

Erotica and romance. I personally love erotica because it allows you to let your sexual fantasies play out. While romance is very simple because as humans, we love a happy ending.

If your main character had a day off, how would they spend it?

Seven would spend her day off driving until The sunset and sit in the car listen to R&B music and disconnect from the world.

Anything else you'd like to share with our readers?

I hope you enjoy the third book in the series. It was a pleasure to write. And thank you very much for having me on Two Nerds with Words.

With an addict for a mother, an abuser for a grandmother, and a rapist for a brother, Seven Miller was born into a family that wasn't worth a damn. It was no wonder that at twelve years old the young abuse victim ran away and found herself crazy in love with, and desperately clinging to, sixteen-year-old Xavier Gold, her protector, her provider, her everything.

Until her evil grandmother found out and set out to destroy their young love even if she had to commit murder to do it!

Now, seven years later, after having suffered an unimaginable loss, Seven and Xavier are still together, stronger than ever, and on their way to the altar. There's only one problem. Xavier's unhealthy and unnatural obsession with Seven. This time around, it's not only outside forces that risk tearing the young couple apart, it's the madness of the forces within.
